Generators
model comparison
Manufacturer: Metal-Technik
Metal-Technik diesel-powered generator sets are devices used for generating electricity in places where there is no stable access to the grid or in case of power outages.
They are characterized by:
- High performance and durability – diesel engines are resistant to intensive operation and can work for many hours.
- Lower fuel consumption compared to gasoline units of the same power, which translates into savings during long-term operation.
- With high power and stable voltage, making them suitable for powering industrial equipment, professional tools, emergency systems, construction sites, or public utility facilities.
- Applications in various industries - from construction and manufacturing, through medicine and IT, to agriculture and households.
- Equipped with safety and automation systems – including automatic transfer switch (ATS) for power failure, overload protection.
Diesel fuel provides better efficiency and longer engine life, making diesel generators an ideal choice where high power output and long-term reliability are required.

Notes
Definitions:
PRP Rated Power (Prime Rated Power) according to ISO8528-1:2018: The maximum power that a generating set is capable of producing, with variable load for an unlimited number of hours per year, under agreed operating conditions, while observing the maintenance intervals and procedures specified by the manufacturer. Over a 24-hour period, the average load factor must not exceed 70%. At this power, an overload of 10%is permissible for 1 hour in every 12 hours.
Maximum ESP (Emergency Standby Power) according to ISO8528-1:2018: Maximum power available during a variable electrical power sequence, under specified operating conditions, that a generating set is capable of delivering in the event of a primary power failure or under test conditions for a maximum of 200 operating hours per year, in compliance with the maintenance periods and procedures specified by the manufacturer. Over a 24-hour period, the average load factor is 70%. Overload at this power is not permitted.
