1.1. 2. Personal data collected by the Controller via the website are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), hereinafter referred to as the GDPR.

3. Any words or phrases written with a capital letter in this Privacy Policy shall be understood in accordance with their definition contained in the Terms and Conditions of the online store www.metal-technik.eu

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED, PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF DATA COLLECTION

1. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS.

3. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD.

After giving explicit consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, data may be processed also for sending commercial information electronically or making telephone calls for direct marketing – respectively in In connection with Art. 398 sec. 1 and 2 of the Act of July 12, 2024 – Electronic Communications Law, in directed as a result of profiling, provided that the User has given appropriate consent.

7. Providing personal data by the Service Recipient is voluntary.

8. The administrator shall exercise particular diligence to protect the interests of the persons whose data concerns and in particular ensures that the data it collects are:

Right to control, access, and correct one's own data


The data subject has the right to access the content of their personal data and the right to rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

2.7. Withdrawal of Consent - Article 7(3) GDPR.

4. In the event of a User making a request based on the above rights, the Administrator shall fulfill the request or refuse to fulfill it immediately, but no later than one month after receiving it. However, if – due to the complex nature of the request or the number of requests – the Administrator cannot fulfill the request within one month, it shall fulfill it within the next two months, having previously informed the User within one month of receiving the request – about the intended extension of the deadline and its reasons.
5. In the event that personal data processing violates GDPR regulations, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Cookies„

1. The Administrator's website uses „cookies.”.
2. The installation of „cookies” is necessary for the proper provision of services on the Store's website. „Cookies” contain information necessary for the proper functioning of the website, and also provide the possibility of developing general website visit statistics.
3. Two types of cookies are used on the website: „session” and „persistent.”.
3.1. „Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the End User's device until logging out (leaving the website).,

ADDITIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO USER ACTIVITY IN THE STORE

1. The Shop uses so-called social plugins („plugins“) from social networking services. By displaying the website www.metal-technik.eu containing such a plugin, the User's browser will establish a direct connection with the servers of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google.
2. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly by the respective provider to the User's browser and integrated with the website. Due to this integration, providers receive information that the User's browser has displayed the website www.metal-technik.eu, even if the User does not have a profile with the respective provider or is not currently logged in. This information (along with the User's IP address) is transmitted by the browser directly to the respective provider's server (some servers are located in the USA) and stored there.
3. If the Service Recipient logs into one of the above social networking services, the service provider will be able to directly assign the visit to the www.metal-technik.eu website to the Service Recipient's profile on the respective social networking service.

4. If the User uses a given plugin, e.g., by clicking the „Like” button or the „Share” button, the relevant information will also be sent directly to the provider's server and stored there.

The purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use by service providers, as well as the possibility of contact and the Service Recipient's rights in this regard and the possibility of making settings that ensure the Service Recipient's privacy are described in the service providers' privacy policy:

6. If the User does not want social networking services to directly associate data collected during visits to www.metal-technik.eu with their profile on a given service, they must log out of that service before visiting www.metal-technik.eu. The User can also completely prevent plugins from loading on the site by using appropriate browser extensions, e.g., by blocking scripts with „NoScript.“.
7. The Administrator uses remarketing tools on its website, such as Google Ads. Their use involves the utilization of Google LLC cookies related to the Google Ads service. Within the cookie management settings mechanism, the User has the option to decide whether the Service Provider may use Google Ads (external cookie administrator: Google LLC, based in the USA) in relation to them.

FINAL PROVISIONS

The administrator shall apply technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of processed personal data appropriate to the threats and categories of data subject to protection, and in particular shall secure data against disclosure to unauthorized persons, removal by an unauthorized person, processing in violation of applicable regulations, and alteration, loss, damage, or destruction.
2. The administrator shall provide appropriate technical means to prevent unauthorized persons from acquiring and modifying personal data transmitted electronically.
3. Matters not regulated by this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the provisions of GDPR and other applicable Polish law.
